    Former Prime Minister of Norway

    She is a politician, diplomat and doctor in Norway. After she took office as the first and youngest prime minister for the first time in Norway in 1981, she organized the cabinet with 8 female and 9 male ministers to show the highest level of gender equality in the history. Sin then, she had held office for more than 10 years as the Prime Minister of Norway. Dr. Brundtland has been recognized in the international community as a leader taking the lead in solving the world's major challenges such as environment, human rights, sustainable development and international security as the Minister of Environment, the prime minister and the leader of the Labor Party. After she resigned premiership in 1989, she had worked as a world leader in the field of sustainable development and public health.     Lee Bae Yong, President of The Academy of Korean Studies, is a symbol of women’s leadership in Korea. She had greatly contributed to the development of female talents and the enhancement of Korea’ international dignity and position, while working as the 13th president of Ewha Womans University and chairperson of Presidential Council on National Branding. She established Korean Association of Women’s History in 2004 to become the first president. Moreover, she had successively filled the president of The Association For The Study Of Korean History of Thoughts and of The Chosun Dynasty History Association. She had also worked as the first female president of Korean Association of Private University Presidents (2008) and of Korean Council for University Education (2009). She looks into the qualification of female leaders from history in the 21st century dominated by sensitivity, women and imagination. She emphasizes that it is the age that the potential of women begins to shine like the win-win leadership of Soseono who founded Baekje, the integrated leadership of Queen Seonduk who widely paved the way to the unification of the Three Kingdoms, the specialty of Shinsaimdang who sublimated her mind of the respect for life into arts and the leadership of Kim Man-Deok who donated all of her possession to society to practice sharing personally.     Minister Cho Yoon Sun is a representative female leader who has pioneered a new way as a lawyer of Kim & Chang, a law firm, vice president of Citi Bank Korea, spokeswoman for the ruling party, and member of the 18th National Assembly. As she took office as a co-spokesperson for Presidential Election Ballot Measure Committee of Hannara Party at the time of the 16th Presidential Election in Korea in 2002 to enter the political arena, she made a record as the first female spokesperson in the history of conservative political parties.
