Yonah Martin is a Conservative Senator from British Columbia. She was appointed by Prime Minister Stephen Harper on January 2009, and is the first Canadian of Korean descent to serve in the Senate of Canada and the first Korean-Canadian Parliamentarian in Canadian history. Yonah Martin graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1987, earned a Master of Education in 1996; and enjoyed a 21-year career as an educator until her Senate appointment in 2009.

Michelle Bachelet is the first Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women, which was established in 2010. Under Ms. Bachelet¡¯s leadership, UN Women will lead, support and coordinate the work on gender equality and the empowerment of women at global, regional and country levels.
From 2006 to 2010, Ms. Bachelet served as President of Chile. A long-time champion of women¡¯s rights, she has advocated for gender equality and women¡¯s empowerment throughout her career. One of her major successes as President was her decision to save billions of dollars in revenues to spend on issues such as pension reform, social protection programmes for women and children, and research and development, despite the financial crisis. Other initiatives included tripling the number of free early child-care centres for low-income families and the completion of some 3,500 child-care centres around the country.

Heesun Chung
Former Director General, National Forensic Service
In 1978, Heesun Chung joined the National Forensic Service (NFS), of which she served as a Director General from 2008 to 2012. Currently, she is the president of Korean Society of Forensic Science as well as the President of International Association of Forensic Sciences (IAFS). She is also the first Asian President-elect for International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT). Her research interests are the analysis of abused drugs in biological fluids and other alternative specimens including hair and impurity profiling of illicit methamphetamine. She has presented her findings at numerous international meetings and symposia. Her research has resulted in the publication over 100 scientific articles. She was honored as the most outstanding woman of 2007 by the Ministry of Science and Technology in Korea, received a medal from Mongolian government in 2009 and won the Bichumi Woman Award by Samsung Life Insurance Co. in 2010. She hosted the 43rd TIAFT meeting and the 3rd AFSN meeting in Korea and will host the IAFS meeting in 2014.
Dr. Chung received her B.S.degree in pharmacy from Sookmyung Women¡¯s University (Seoul, Korea) and a master degree and a Ph.D. in Hygienic Pharmacy from the same university in 1983 and 1987. From 1990 to 1991 she held a post-doctoral appointment in the Department of Neuropharmacology, King¡¯s College London in the UK.

Dong-Jae (DJ) Kim is currently professor of strategy and international business at Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University. Professor Kim received his Ph.D. in strategic management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and his M.A. and B.A. from Seoul National University in 1987 and 1985 respectively. Prior to joining Yonsei in 1996, he was an assistant professor at Department of Business Administration of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1994-97) and a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Inc. (1992-94). Also, Professor Kim was the founding president and CEO of Korea Internet Holdings, Inc., a venture capital firm (2000-2001) while on leave from Yonsei. His research interests include strategic decision making under uncertainty, evolution of firm capabilities, and global competitive moves.

Haeng-Hee Lee joined Corning Korea in 1988 as a customer service representative. She was recognized for her potential in the Sales and Marketing area, and was appointed sales representative for Advanced Materials and New Business Development in 1990.

She has been the world champion for the last ten years, which is the first case among the superheavyweight female weightlifters (+75kg).
She has won the World Championships four times, and finally won the gold medal at Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 with a world record of 326 kg in total.
She also won Guangzhou Asian Games in 2009, and it was the first grandslam in Korean weightlifting history.

Mr. Man-Gi Paik has served as the Chairman of Korea Intellectual Property Service Association(KAIPS) since 2008. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering from Seoul National University.
